Our Director of Growth, Andre Costa, attended Advertising Week 2020 this week and gleaned useful insight from the digital event. The Audio is the New Social session hosted by Pandora particularly stood out. Andre says,

Watching James Clark go in detail on how Frito-Lay brands are looking at audio and experimenting with Voice interactive ads was eye-opening. More and more consumers are becoming averse to explicit advertising. The concept of a 2-way dialogue brings more of a soft sell when engaging with consumers.
His main conclusions around Voice interactive ads were that this medium opens a new frontier for marketers and they still have a lot to learn.
The potential is clear, now it's time to grab the opportunity to further humanize the brand and bring brand personality in new ways.
