Skilled Creative Product Review: Spotify’s "Car Thing’"

Skilled Creative’s Founder, Brandon Kaplan, recently tried the new Spotify “Car Thing” and shares his thoughts:

”I recently unboxed and checked out the Spotify Car Thing…for anyone who doesn’t have a voice activated or Spotify integrated car, this is a phenomenal accessory. Voice / Haptic control, logical voice controls, great response, well designed visual interface, easy setup, and the device took me to task when I got out of line. 

We previously made an Alexa Routine with our partners at Warner Music Group for Gayle’s ABCDEFU, where you could say F*CK YOU to launch her song, and I wanted to test what Car Things response was to this phrase. It muted me. Getting myself out of mute jail was the hardest thing about using this device. 

Kudos to Spotify for taking the swing, and producing their own hardware, voice assistant, and bridge to smart controls for cars that don’t currently have access.”
